So now that the Halloween is finally over, I feel like I can get on with my normal fall weekend routine which (if I’m lucky) includes a little shopping, exercise and one of my most favorite of activities – brunch. For my friends and I, brunch starts at 3pm, which I guess technically makes it a super late lunch. I never make dinner plans Saturday night, because the afternoon festivities often turn from a casual mid-day bite to evening cocktails, dinner and then out.

When the sun begins to set, and you realize that you have been convinced to join the group to the next destination, you realize that your face is in need of a little refresher. There is no going home, for fear that you would never make it out again. This is where that burning question arises. How do you transition your makeup from afternoon to evening and still feel fresh, radiant and glowing?

The answer? An all-star line-up of killer liquid makeup products. Here’s my go-to brunch to drinks beauty routine from start to finish:

Pre-Brunch Essentials:

Vapour Stratus Instant Skin Perfector

MAC Face and Body Foundation

Giorgio Armani Fluid Sheer 7 (mixed with above and applied with MAC Brush 107)

MAC Fix + (spray liberally to the face in between foundation/ fluid sheer application)

RMS “Un” Cover-Up Shade 22 (applied under the eyes)

By Terry Concealer in Porcelain (around the nose and smile lines)

RMS Living Luminizer (around the outsides of eyes and eyelids)

RMS Buriti Bronzer (applied with Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate Brush 04)

Anastasia Perfect Brow Pencil in Soft Brown

Nars Brow Gel

Jouer Lip Definer in Natural

Belmacz Glow in Pink

*Notice—no mascara! I think it’s super chic to give my eyes a break during the day.

*Applied with clean fingers unless noted otherwise
