A Net-A-Porter Beauty Insider's Secret to Perfect Hair

My friend Mimi Slater is undoubtedly gorgeous, smart and witty. The Colombia biz school grad, fellow beauty junkie and former glow girl has certainly got it going on. She works as the Beauty Marketing Manager at one of the most prestigious online beauty destinations (and one of my own person favs), Net-A-Porter, and therefore has immediate accesses to a bety of products. In true beauty-girl form, she has tried it all. I want to know specifically about Mimi’s mane routine…what products she uses and owes to that golden head of hair. This is what she had to say.

Philip B Russian Amber Shampoo is part of my special occasion, big-hair routine.  The texture is so different from your traditional shampoo (it’s like a melted caramel), so can be a bit shocking at first, but it gives me more volume than any other shampoo I’ve tried.  I work a little bit into roots, leave on for 5 minutes, then rinse with cool water. I follow with Oribe Grandiose Plumping Mousse then blow dry with a good dryer.  The next day I’ll use Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray to refresh the volume. It’s the best.

For an average hair day, I use Oribe Shampoo for Beautiful Color with a tiny bit of conditioner on the ends and a blow dry protectant spray.

Once a week, for deep conditioning, I use Purely Perfect Cleansing Crème.  I’ll either use the Philip Kingsley Elasticizer before or follow with the Christophe Robin Regenerating Mask. They are both amazing.”
