Omorovicza’s Deep Cleansing Mud Masque is every beauty editor’s secret weapon to fighting tired and fatigued skin. There are a million face masks out there, but this one is restorative and contains precious ingredients that hail from Hungary’s healing spring waters.

The Omorovicza story began over 2,000 years ago, when the healing properties of Hungary’s thermal waters were first discovered and the first baths were built there. In the 1800’s, the Omorovicza family built the Racz Spa in Budapest on the site of a medieval healing spring. Fast forward 200 years to when Steven de Heinrich de Omorovicza took his future wife-to-be, an American, to visit his family’s baths. Amazed at the effects on their skin, they bottled up the healing waters and the Omorovicza brand was born.

One of the brand’s most beloved products is the Deep Cleansing Mud Masque. Intrigued by the brand’s story, the product’s incredibly elegant packaging and the unanimous cult following amongst the beauty set, I gave the masque a go. I applied it to clean skin, and right away felt a soothing tingling sensation. I left it on for about twenty minutes, as instructed, and the masque hardened on my skin. Afterward, I washed my face with warm water and my complexion still felt cool and very smooth. My skin was firmer and brighter and my pores were nonexistent! Even the tiny blackheads around my nose had disappeared.

The next day I did experience a few unexpected tiny breakouts, which was very unusual for my skin. This was the masque’s deep clean doing its thing. A few days later, my skin had completely cleared up, looking more radiant than ever. Overall, my complexion felt extremely clean and detoxified.

Listen up, girls. This is the go-to Sunday night mask to rid your skin of toxins and bacteria. Why not start the week with a clean slate?
