Eleven months out of the year pumpkins are just another vegetable, but in October they are like the Holy Grail. Pumpkins signal that fall has arrived and marks the official beginning of a three-month long holiday season. What I love most about pumpkins is the smell. Last weekend I popped home to Oklahoma to visit my family and squeeze my adorable little niece Lola. No trip to home to Tulsa is complete without a stop into one of my favorite home stores TA Lorton. It’s the type of place that makes you want literally everything. But this time what struck me was the most alluring and coziest of smells.
