During a recent visit to one of chicest and slightly under-the-radar fashion meets beauty meets interior design concept stores in New York’s Soho, The Apartment by The Line, I discovered one of the coolest and cultist brands that left me thinking “where the hell have I been?!” – Grown Alchemist. As a side note, if you live in NYC you need to visit The Line, a light-filled aerie on Greene Street, for it’s perfectly edited beauty selection, it’s black, white and grey fashion pallet and ultra cool modern home décor. It’s like as if Swedish blogger Elin Kling turned herself in a store.
Anyway. Grown Alchemist’s packaging itself is what initially caught my eye – black, chic and sciencey in a way. I tested out the Watermelon and Vanilla Lip Balm (part of the travel gift set), and I knew that I had found something special. This Australia-based brand represents a new generation of organic skincare formulations comprising of natural technologies that have revolutionized the traditional approach to anti-aging skincare, body and hair care. Like I have learned through my obsessions with Tata Harper’s non-toxic brand, it is now not only preferable, but finally possible to achieve real beauty results without harmful chemicals. Cool right?
