Hallelujah! Nine days and counting until I venture down to Miami for a much needed sun (and rosé) infused weekend. Whoop whoop! So in typical me fashion, I wait until the very last minute to pack just about every time. I find packing SO annoying. (Okay, I know I sound pathetic, because at least I’m packing for something, right? But it’s not my strength.) This time around, I’m determined to create the perfect “what to pack” list (in advance), so I can make sure to be extremely prepared for my weekend at the beach.

Since I’ll soon be spending hours in the sun, body sunscreen is essential. Just because I want a little vitamin D doesn’t mean I want to leave my pale skin unprotected. My friends and I are always on the lookout for the best sunscreen, and I’ve found one that I’m quite happy with. Drunk Elephant Umbra Sheer Physical Defense SPF 30 is a cell-energizing sun block that is loaded with antioxidants to fight free radicals while delivering powerful UV protection and anti-aging benefits. This block is formulated with Zinc Oxide and without any chemical sunscreens. Actually, all Drunk Elephant products only contain ingredients that are there to benefit skin health. Sheer being the operative word, it doesn’t leave that weird white residue or greasiness, so you’ll actually want to apply it often. It’s also formulated for all skin types so it doesn’t make you break out. This is one sunscreen that I actually feel good about putting on my skin.

To fully prepare for my Miami vaca, I needed the perfect evening clutch. I ran across the cutest zebra bag Serpui Marie at Kirna Zabete that will definitely give my look a little beachy flare. Although its tiny, it has just enough room for my latest and greatest concealer, Lorac Double Feature Concealer and Highlighter, for late night touch-ups. I also couldn’t resist these spotted Loubs which will be perfect for a low-key night at Casa Tua or something more chill and less clubby. They are beyond chic.
