Holistic beauty is making its way into the mainstream. You can spot signs of this everywhere from high-end spas and facialists coast to coast to beauty products infused with healing gems to health supplements (like my favorite from Moon Juice) that work synergistically at the deepest levels to heal and enhance your beauty, brain, body, sexual energy, sleep and spirit.

This weekend, I had the pleasure of receiving a very unique treatment at New York’s L. Raphael Spa that got me thinking about this holistic beauty trend: the Diamond Ony-Lift (which actually premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival), is a treatment perfect for those who are looking for serious hydration and for a toned and glowing look. As its name suggests, diamonds are the hallmark of this facial. Why diamonds, you ask? Not only are they captivating with their brilliance and shine, diamonds also pack a big beauty punch.

With its rigid lattice network, diamonds are known to be the hardest natural material on earth that when pulverized create an exquisite, micro-fine dust that is becoming increasingly popular in luxury beauty treatments. Diamond dust, when applied topically, gently exfoliates skin, evens its texture, tones, polishes, and restores its natural radiance.

Although Diamonds are a girl’s best friend, they are not the only crystal that can be used to heal and enhance. In fact, every crystal has a different vibration, a different healing energy that works with our own chemistry to help restore our body’s natural health and balance.
