Considering the fact that there are about a million other gifts guides out there, I wanted to create something truly real – a curated list completely unpaid and unsponsored. When making this list, I kept my friends and family in mind, thinking about what they would actually love to receive this year. I also added some of my tried-and-true favorites as well as some products I feel are going to be big in the coming year. I have tried most of these items, and I’ve got to say that I really, really love them all.
Whether it’s for a Secret Santa party, a hostess gift or to be wrapped and placed under the tree for the fam, here’s what I think you should be buying (and receiving) this holiday season:
Tom Ford Lips and Boys Collection – There’s something for everyone in Tom Ford’s limited edition collection of all 50 mini lipsticks. They are smartly sized and only $35 compared to the regular $50 lipsticks. You can buy them individually or even as a whole set.
Smith and Cult Nail Polishes – The packaging alone is a reason to buy any of these gorgeous and long-wear colors. Besides their cute-beyond-belief looks, the heavily saturated polishes really do stay on and give your nails a nice and polished look.
Candles: D.S. & Durga, Ellis Brooklyn Raven Candle or Diptyque Set of 3, Baies, Roses and Figuier – Candles are always a hit. Try gifting one of my all-time favorites sure to bring a smile to anyone’s face.
Tata Harper Skincare – For those of you that read my blog often, you know that I am a die-hard Tata Harper fan. I use it, my mom uses and my sister who is a young mom of two uses it, as well as my editor Lexi. We all love the drastic and age defying-results it delivers and its clean, nontoxic formulations.
Byredo Holiday Discovery Box – It’s hard to buy someone else a perfume right? This diverse set makes it super easy, and all of the scents are ridiculously good. I’ve never met someone who didn’t immediately love a Byredo scent.
J. Crew Pjs – You don’t have to feel anxious about staying in and being lazy when you can cuddle up with these cozy PJs. Who wouldn’t want to lounge in style?
Amanda Lacey Cleansing Pomade – The ultimate cleanser from London celeb facialist is packed in a glass jar that turns face washing into the most magical experience. This is a must-have.
Sony RX100 Camera or Leica M-P 240 Digital Army Green Camera – There has to be one photographer in your group of friends, and why shouldn’t it be you? I’m hoping that Santa will bring me this new limited edition Leica this year.
Earth Tu Face Botanical Perfume – A fragrance inside of a beautiful little shell? I’m sold. This solid scent is handmade in California and also doubles as a scar treatment.
Georgia Louise Lift + Sculpt Butterfly Stone – For the crystal enthusiast, this is the ultimate gift. It helps to drain puffiness and toxins as well as contour the face, smoothing fine lines and wrinkles.
Shiva Rose Venus Rose Body Oil – Your skin is screaming for this deliciously scented blend of essential oils and crystals of rose quartz gem that promote love, peace and tranquility. Bottom line – It’s one of the best smelling oils out there. Read my Glow Girl interview with Shiva Rose here.
