As you know, I am clearly obsessed with anything that makes my skin glow. DUH. My LA bestie friend Taylor dies over beauty and makeup just about as much as I do. About a month ago, on a mini LA vaca, I was complaining about my travel-induced lackluster skin. My tried and true Chanel Sheer Brilliance has long been discontinued and I needed something new and exciting to accompany and compliment my favorite “highlighting” products of the moment, Benefit Moon Beam, Nars Illuminator in Luxor and RMS Living Luminizer. For real, does anyone remember Perscriptives Brightening Cream Moisturizer? If so, MAC Strobe Liquid is the like the seriously updated, brighter and more wearable version. Taylor turned me on to it, and now there’s no turning back. I like to mix 3 pumps of it into my cream during my morning and pre-party routine to give that fresh, dewy, hydrated look that only models, young children, or alcohol avoiders seem to have. OH and is does not clog pours – which is obviously major. The lotion is intended to be used alone, but I use it in addition to whatever cream/ lotion I am using. I swear, imperfections are reduced and your skin instantly looks younger and more radiant! Pop on a tiny bit of concealer (and mascara for those who would die without it), and you are good to go.
