Glow Guide: April 2015

The happy days of spring are making me feel inspired by all of the beauty around me.  The colorful flowers, cherry blossoms and the glowy sunshine make me excited to revamp my beauty routine, striving for luminosity from the inside and out. I am super motivated to rejuvenate  my skin and pores after the harsh winter by using healthy and hydrating skincare products. I’m also focusing on nourishing internally, continuing to create my fresh morning smoothies and experimenting with natural, clean ingredients. I’m also excited to try a fresh new scent. So in honor of spring’s newness, I’ve dedicated my April Glow Guide to the latest beauty launches. Full of pretty and potent products to get you looking and feeling radiant, these are the magical spring beauty products every girl needs.

The Beauty Chef Glow Inner Beauty Powder – This unique powder (made of 23 skin loving super foods) nourishes and enhances the skin from the inside, giving your skin a healthy glow on the outside. This powerhouse of nutrients delivers everything that the skin needs to be healthy and radiant. I’ve been adding this to my morning smoothie.

Tata Harper Iridescent Revitalizing Body Oil – All natural, non-toxic and uniquely scented with an aromatic love potion, this bronzing oil will transform my pale limbs for my next Saturday afternoon brunch.

Guerlain Météorites Baby Glow – Guerlain’s famous Météorites sheer foundation has the power of light reflection. It also comes with SPF 25 to protect your skin while it produces a lovely luminous glow.

YSL Pop Water Nail Lacquer – This polish is more of a glow than a pigmented hue, adding the perfect amount of pop without being too obvious. It’s also very chic as a second coat on top of a bright/matte shade.

Dolce & Gabbana Honey Nail Polish – I had this on my nails last week, and no joke I have never received more random nail compliments. This is the perfect SUPER matte honey colored nude. It’s my new favorite.

One Love Organics Vitamin B Cleansing Oil – I’m psycho obsessed with the whole brand, but this oil takes off all my makeup. When you really rub, the oil turns all dirt and residue into little balls that easily wash away. The smell is amazing, like fresh pineapples.

By Rosie Jane Tilly Roll-On Perfume – Rosie Jane, makeup artist turned perfumer, created this scent for the lazy days of summer. It’s warm, sensual and delicate with notes of grapefruit, coconut and a hint of pineapple.

Tom Ford Matte Lipstick, Ruby Rush – SO I am fully aware that this isn’t a pink or coral as one might expect, but I think a classic red lip is always appropriate regardless of the season. This shade is literally one of the best matte red lipsticks I have EVER come across. This blue-red is opaque, pigmented and pairs perfectly with clean and luminous skin.

Vintner’s Daughter Botanical Serum – The serum to squash all other serums!! This stuff is the BOMB. Combining 22 of the world’s most active organic and wild botanicals, this is a powerful concentration of anti-inflammatory ingredients, essential fatty acids and anti-oxidants. I could go on and on, but long story short – after one day of using this serum, I woke up looking less red, less-inflamed and overall I just looked better. NO joke.

Verso Super Facial Oil – This is the first ever retinol enhanced oil…ever. It’s absolutely amazing. The packaging is super chic and perfect not only for travel, but to throw in my bag and use throughout the day when I’m feeling a little dry. Read more about my love for Verso here.

Thank you for enjoying the post! Yes, you have to try these two brands. I love organic products whether food or beauty. Similar to eating healthy, when you apply products with no chemicals, your beauty shines from within.
