It’s young, cool, totally approachable, and unlike other spas, Heyday is dedicated ONLY to facials. Each facial is totally customized, meaning that no two facials will ever be the same. For a spa dedicated to customization, the menu isn’t complicated in the least bit. You select either a 30-minute facial, which is tailored to cleanse, detox, hydrate, and calm the skin, or a 50-minute facial, which is a more comprehensive treatment including a deep cleanse, professional exfoliation, facial massage, extractions, a treatment mask, and balancing hydration. There is also an app too for easy spur-of-the moment booking. So tech-savvy chic, no?

Heyday also uses (and sells) a highly curated selection of natural and organic products from Grown Alchemist, One Love Organics, Ilia, Rodin, Sugergoop and Herbivore Botanicals (to name a few). All the products are neatly displayed by category and even by order of use, so people can really find exactly what they are looking for.

I had the pleasure of experiencing Heyday a few weeks ago, and my face truly glowed for 48-hours after. The day of the facial, I was in a bit of a time crunch, so I choose the simple, yet effective 30-minute treatment. The experience was very quiet, calm and relaxing. The aesthetics of the space were chic and super clean, which also contributed to the soothing experience.

The treatment included lymphatic massage, which was so relaxing. The product I most remembered was the mask that was applied and left on for a few minutes. It was this delicious Shaffali Sage & Sandlewood Detox Earth Mask. Shaffali is organic, local and beautifully crafted. I also experienced their Pineapple Peppermint Exfoliate, which I loved as well. Experiencing both the massages and the products were so calming, I nearly passed out from being so chill. (I should note that me being chill during a busy week is like seeing a dog successfully riding a skateboard. It’s an amazing, awe-inspiring feat.)

If I can relax, you can too, which is why you must try Heyday for yourself. It’s the perfect place to go before a big event, after a long week, when you feel like you face needs some tuning up, or even once a month for regular glowifying maintainence.
