I couldn’t believe how calm it was backstage at SUNO. Hair and Makeup was setup in two different rooms at MILK Studios, which allowed the stylist’s plenty of space. MAC makeup was dewy and natural. All liquid finishes were used on the face, and the eyes had a hint of a red tinted shadow. No mascara and no lines, everything was blurred and blended. Leftover foundation was patted onto bare lips, earasing any hint of natural color. Kerastase Mousse Substantive was used to help achieve the messy and somewhat staticy pony. I received an amazing tip that the BEST BRUSH EVER is the Mason Pearson “Boar Bristle & Nylon.” I am obviously going out and buying this – today. Rococo’s Gold Leaf Lacquer was carefully applied to the nails, and yes it is real gold.
