Scrolling through Instagram over the weekend, I stumbled across Tom Pecheux’s super closeup shot of one of his glossiest burgundy hued eyes from the Sophie Theallet show. Pecheux, who just happens to be one of my favorite makeup artists (duh), created this look for the spring show and after stalking the internet, I have discovered exactly what he used. The beauty look embodies “a rebellious woman rocking the edgy side of makeup” and was inspired by “a sexy woman at the beach.”
Pecheux brushed M·A·C Dipdown (Deep Brown) Fluidline over the eyelid to the crease and under the lash line before topping with M·A·C Medoc Eye Gloss for a glossy look. Lashes were defined with M·A·C Haute & Naughty Lash Mascara (but you could obviously use your own mascara, like I love Dior Show). To finish, M·A·C PRO Dim Lip Erase was patted into lips with the very same Medoc Eye Gloss applied in the center for depth.
Obviously, I am buying this divine gloss situation right now. You should too. It’s like Twilight vampire meets downtown New York City girl. Thank you, Tom. Just dying over this.
