So over Thanksgiving, I FINALLY had a chance to catch up on my magazines. Spotted in Allure’s December 2013 issue I found this stellar editorial staring Mirte Maas, appropriately titled “On Holiday.” The timing couldn’t be more perfect, because I am currently in the midst of packing for a trip to Antigua, so I felt totally inspired. These are the three most major looks that I am going to try On Holiday.

Tropical Punch: For my first look, it’s all about the coral lip. Mirte (above) is wearing Lancome Rouge in Love in Sequence in Love, which is a coraly red. On the eyes, she is wearing a Lancome Color Design in You’ve Got the Look, a soft purply/pinky gold. Buying these both immediately, of course.

Golden Eye: Nothing screams “holiday” quite like the color gold. The soft, peachy lips  take the look from city to sun. To get the look, try Chanel Illusion D’Ombre Long Wear Luminous Eyeshadow in Apparence. Mirte is wearing Cover Girl Lip Balm in Smooch in the picture above.

Matte Magenta: The beauty mavens at Allure say that this lipstick “brightens your complexion like a classic red, but more dramatically.” For best results, try applying a lip pencil or treatment first. To get the look, apply RMS Beauty Living Luminizer (my ultimate favorite) on the eyelids. On the lips, Mirte is wearing L’Oréal Infallible Lipstick in .
