Dear SITG beauty fans,

I’ve got some pretty amazing news to share with you today – I am moving to Zurich, Switzerland. Literally, as we speak I am sitting in the airport lounge waiting for our flight to board later this evening. My husband is Swiss and he is going to work for his family, in his hometown. My thoughts? I couldn’t be more excited. As an American, I look at it this way…I am moving to EUROPE. I mean, right?! I feel like I’m dreaming and I’ve been living in a dream preparing for this move. Think of it…Rome, London, Paris, Milan, all just a hop, skip and a jump away. Henry and I are keeping our apartment in New York, and we will both be back often, so our love affair with the city that I hold so close to my heart will still live on.

It’s weird. I’ve noticed that over the last few months, I’ve found myself looking out of the window at the city that I love so much in such a longing way. Trash on the sidewalks, crowds of people, graffiti, gloomy days — New York is incredibly addicting but in the best way ever, and if you love it, you like really love it. I moved to New York right after college and I never really thought I would leave. My friends became family and saying goodbye to them was the hardest of all. Now here we are, in the final hours, right before our plane takes off, and all of the the emotions and tears are flowing out of me. Tears of joy, excitement, anticipation, goodbyes and new beginnings.

What is waiting for me right around the corner is the biggest adventure of my life and guess what, I can bring you with me. On the beauty front, I want to apologize for my slacking off on writing these past few weeks. Between my wedding and this whole move sitch, I was a bit distracted. In 2017 She’s in the Glow will revive, and launch in full force. I will continue to write, test and investigate beauty and share my stories with you. She’s in the Glow is now international and I can’t wait for you to see what’s to come.
