You probably know my philosophy when it comes to the sun and tanning. I prefer Snow White-esque skin over fine lines (or wrinkles!) all year round. While I am partial to a creamy complexion (even if that means pale), I typically hate sunscreens. They’re always too oily. Luckily, since I found Hampton Sun, my new sunscreen obsession, I can finally get some healthy Vitamin D up in my skin! My Dr. actually said I was lacking in that department (whoopsies).

Over the years, my sun aversion has lead to a pretty compulsive self-tanning problem. I love a good spray tan and live for both drug and department store body self-tanners. My favorites are L’Oreal Paris Sublime Bronze Self-Tanning Gelee and Lancôme Flash Bronzer. Hey, why not fake it? The thing to note here is that whenever I tan my body I always avoid my face. I never want to risk a breakout or an overly orange facial complexion, and instead use tinted moisturizers and foundations to balance the color between face and body. I’m just scared of face self-tanners, except of course, for James Read miracle Sleep Tan Mask. Thats a whole different story, because the color is so subtle and it’s the perfect travel solution.

This weekend, I discovered my newest self-tan LOVE (for the face!), Clarins Golden Glow Booster. OK girls, get ready for this. The first ever self-tanning innovation requires just 3 drops added to your day and/or night moisturizer to warm the complexion with a sun-kissed glow. The color is subtle enough to also be used on your neck and chest when you want a little extra color. It is 99.8% natural and promotes perfectly natural, even results. This way, you get the tan without sacrificing your own personal skincare routine. So we can keep using our normal skincare and still develop color. How cool is this?! Just mix in and you’re on your way to sun-kissed radiance.
