Are you the last person to make the switch to Natural Deodorant?

Hey guys, if you’re still using a deodorant that includes ingredients like aluminum, talc or silica then you should probably rethink it. Although aluminum studies are controversial, we do know that this toxic, heavy metal mimics estrogen and is linked to Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Dementia and Autism. We simply don’t know the long term effects. So why risk it?

I switched a natural deodorant a few years ago and I’ll admit that it took my body a little while to get adjusted to the au natural version, but the wait was worth it. If your body has an aversion to natural deodorants and you find that you smell less than great, try using wipes. I started carrying them with me to work and during the day, along with my deodorant, so if I needed, I could get in a little mid-day refresh. You know what I mean.

These are my 5 fave deodorants that I use interchangeably.

Soap Walla Deodorant Cream – The frosting-like consistency allows for easy manual application but I promise, it doesn’t feel gross between the fingers. It’s also perfect for travel. It’s an all natural blend of lavender, peppermint and tea tree essential oils that absorb moisture, inhibit bacteria, and ensure a long-lasting and highly effective experience.

Meow Meow Tweet Deodorant Cream – Another completely natural underarm cream that is safe, effective and will leave you smelling fresh all day. Baking soda, arrowroot and clay combine to help keep you dry and control odor. Organic plant oils and shea butter moisturize and soothe sensitive underarm skin, while aromatic essential oils combat bacteria responsible for underarm odor.

Agent Nateur No3 Deodorant – Agent Nateur is like the cool kid on the natural deodorant scene. The products are created with non-GMO, pesticide-free, food-grade ingredients so they’re safe for those with even the most sensitive skin. The stick is oversized and will keep you smelling lovely well into the evening hours with a light trace of honey, lavender and eucalyptus.

Dr. Hauschka Rose Deodorant – Dr. Hauschka Rose Deodorant has a rollerball applicator that absorbs odor without irritating skin or clogging pores. Jojoba oil nourishes and hydrates while pure essential oils of rose and jasmine provide a soft, floral scent. I think J. Lo uses this one. 😉

Fine Deodorant – FINE is my newest discovery that you can even share with your hubby. It’s organic, smells really great and is absolutely effective. It’s made in Berlin, Germany so you know that it means business. It’s free from aluminum salts of course and ingredients like Vetiver and Geranium lend to its unique and unisex fragrance.
